10. Where is Tirharad?

Where exactly is the village where Bronwyn and Theo live? Arondir visits here also and it may be the village destroyed in a released scenes. It must be south of Gondor with a name including ‘harad.’

9. Who is the priestess?

A religious leader in the Númenórean cult of Morgoth? A future Nazgul, Khamûl? Will we see the Temple of Morgoth, a cult site raised at the behest of Sauron for Melkor-worship in Armenelos? 

8. Where is the Balrog?

Is this Durin’s Bane? The Second Age has no record of any active Balrogs. Similarities in looks to the Peter Jackson film Balrog.

7. Where is Anárion, Celeborn and Tar-Palantir?

Anárion is Isildur’s bother. Celeborn is Galadriel’s partner and they were already married by the Second Ade. Tar-Palantir is Míriel father and the last King of Númenor who revered the Valar. 

6. Where is Arondir from?

He is a Silvan Elf like other woodland Elves who inhabit Mirkwood and Lothlorien. In pics released he seems to spend time in southern region of Middle-earth where little is written about Elf activity.

5. What is the mysterious sword hilt?

Is this Anglachel, the sword made by the Elf Eöl using metal from a meteorite? Or the hilt of Túrin's sword Gurthang? Or a sword of a different linage related to Sauron?

4. Who is Sauron?

This probably won’t be answered until the end of the first season. Is it Halbrand, Adar, the priestess or the meteor man? The showrunners are keeping up the intrigue.

3.Who is meteor man?

One of the Blue Wizards, Sauron – some say the Eye of Sauron was depicted in the image of the crash. Is it Gandalf? It is written he doesn’t come to Middle-earth until the Third Age.

2. Who is Halbrand?

Is he Sauron and is his meeting of Galadriel in a shipwreck a means of him getting to Númenor – the showrunners can’t use Annatar as he is not mentioned in the LotR books.

1. Who is Adar?

Sindarin for ‘father’. A fallen Elf or one corrupted by the shadow? Shown as a father figure of the Orcs, is Adar the Dark Lord Sauron or is he one of Galadriel’s brothers re-embodied?

  TRoP - Harfoots Migration Route In episode 5 Nori tells us about the Harfoot migration route: “We winter in Old Forest, and mid-summer, we make for Norfield Glen to snail while the snailing is good. And at the first blush of oak leaves, we head to the Grove. A whole orchard, popping with bar apples, plums, apricots, carrots...” Old Forest – This can’t be the Old Forest in LotR where the Hobbits met Tom Bombadil. That is located northeast in Eriador. Nori may be referring to Greenwood the Great, later known as Mirkwood in the Third Age. Old Forest may have been were the Harfoots were eating snails in episode 3. Norfield Glen – Not shown on TRoP maps. Norfield Glen is probably somewhere in the northern part of the hilly region to the south of Greenwood. Weedbrook - a branch of the Anduin River.   The Rings of Power – ‘LeakyRumours’ Fellowship of Fans Meteor man was at Bronwyn’s village, Tirharad during one of the raids. A heavily emotional scene was said to have taken place. ·          This seems like a coming together of the meteor man/Harfoot story and the Bronwyn/Tirharad story arc ·          Does this mean Harfoots will be shown in the lands south of Gondor, Harad referenced in the name of the village ·          Is Tirharad the village we see Arondir, Bronwyn, Theo and Galadriel visiting? Is this the settlement later destroyed in a cataclysmic event?
